Sometimes, no matter how happy you are with the things you used to do, you might still think that something needs to change. Life isn't just about delicious food and going out for fun. It's about not being too indifferent to the world. You may realize that you need to do something to change yourself and become a better person. You'll meet someone who wasn't part of your life before but will have the power to transform it. There will be times when they need to go away for you to realize that you should have done something to make them stay. Often, when someone leaves, they come back. So, it's better to prepare for their return. Who knows what wasn't possible before might be possible now. The person you didn't notice back then might be interested in you now. There's nothing wrong with change. It's all about timing. Don't force things if it's not the right time. It's more satisfying to get what you want without pushing for it. And when you have it, cherish it. Don't let go of what you've worked hard for.
"Hey Fat girl!" Pat woke up to the shout of her brother, Allan.
She covered her ears with a pillow. Sleeping is so good, especially on Sundays. Since she started working in their gravel and sand business, Saturday and Sunday are the only days she can get a good sleep until she wants to. And here comes her annoying brother, disturbing the peace.
"Fat! Get up! Someone's waiting for you outside!"
"Who? It's too early, bro!" she replied irritably.
"It's Matt! He invited you for a jog!"
She quickly got up! Oh no, she forgot to set the alarm!
"Get up! If you keep lazing around with your exercises, your old body will come back!" her brother teased as he exited.
Pat hurriedly showered and brushed her teeth. Her hair is short now; she's too lazy to style it. She has a bob cut with bangs. Since she lost weight, many people say she resembles Glaiza de Castro, also compared to Angel Locsin.
She underwent rigorous diet and exercise to achieve her current goddess-like figure. Sometimes, she feels conscious because she thinks her boobs didn't get smaller. She didn't know they actually added to her sexy appearance.
After brushing, she pulled up her snug sleeveless shirt. She lost count of how many crunches, planks, and sit-ups she did to achieve those toned abs. She smiled. It was all worth it. Her abs could be a model for canned tuna.
She touched her face, now very smooth. A change of lifestyle did wonders for her. She also uses a scrub for her skin, so even if she's not as fair as her bestie, she's incredibly smooth. As Shelly said the last time they met, she looks extremely beautiful now. Pat just laughs when her brother still calls her fat, even though she's already slim. It's just his way of teasing her.
Pat went outside, and her brother said, "Fat! Finally, you're out. Enchong Dee might have gotten bored waiting for you!" He patted Matt on the shoulder and left.
"Brother!" Pat said in annoyance.
Matt laughed at the siblings.
He smiled at Pat. "Good morning, angel."
(Pat's POV)
Before you think of anything, let me explain first, okay? I met Matt at the gym. Even when I just started losing weight, he supported me. He accompanied me on jogs and never embarrassed me. He even said he saw himself in me because he used to be fat too. He faced ridicule, so he worked out to build muscles.
I think he even broke up with his girlfriend because of me. I felt so embarrassed then when his girlfriend asked why he was hanging out with someone like me, a pig. I was really hurt, so I pushed myself to change. Now, I'm prettier and more tempting than his ex. Matt calls me "angel" because he thinks I look like Angel Locsin. It's like his endearment for me. Oh, my bangs are long, right? But we're not in a relationship; we're still in the friend zone.
"Hi Matt!" I smiled at him, confidently showing my teeth. Why else would I regularly bleach them if I won't show them off?
"Ready to go?" he asked, offering his elbow for me to hold before we stepped out.
"Child, I thought you were okay here. Why would you return to the Philippines?" inquired Alex's mom.
"Mom, I need to check all my businesses there. If everything's okay, I might sell some, and others I'm involved in. Maybe I'm really not meant for the Philippines," explained Alex as he sipped his coffee.
He was at his parents' house, having just accompanied his sister Annie to the airport. She's returning to Texas with her spouse after spending a few days at their parents' house in California for Christmas.
Alex, on the other hand, will be going back to the Philippines after the new year.
In the past almost a year, a lot has changed for him.
He became more serious about life, pouring his time into his work to forget the past. He smiles when he remembers his past foolishness.
Now, he realizes that what he felt for Shelly wasn't love. It was a strong physical attraction accompanied by a desire for revenge against his sister's ex.
Who would have thought he'd have a civil relationship with Jake Herrera?
After saving Shelly from her ex Marco, he and Jake came to an understanding. Once Shelly's situation improved, and with her sister Patricia present, they had a conversation. They disclosed everything about what happened between Alex and Jake.
Another reason for his return is the baptism of Shelly and Jake's child, and he's asked to be the godfather. Since he missed their wedding, he wants to make it up during the baptism.
"All's well that ends well," the young man thought with a smile.
Suddenly, he thought of Patricia. How is she doing? He couldn't ask Shelly because he often talks to Jake. It's tricky; Jake might get jealous again.
He will see Patricia in a few days and plans to bring her lots of chocolates, knowing her weakness.

"I just want to know why you're distancing yourself." "I want to know," he said with a deep sigh, his voice still trembling. "I want to know why you have to say those things to Yves!?" "What things?" "That you love me?" "Why? Don't I?" She sobbed even harder. Nena shook, her weakened arms slipping from the young man's grip, so Clint held onto her tighter. She shook her head in protest. "Don't I, Nena?" She shook her head. "N-No!" "No?!" he mocked despite his tears. "Didn't I make you feel it? You know my actions were stating it clearly, Nena. How much I want you, how much I need you, how much I hunger for you, damn it, Nena!" tears streamed down the man's cheeks. "How could you not feel it?" "If you love me, that sex is not the only basis!" she cried. "I needed something more than that! Love is what I needed, not just sex!" "My love was with it, with my kisses, with my every touch, Nena," the man weakly defended. "That's the only way I can show you I love you because I thought, I thought I haven't progressed yet. I loved before, and I believed he loved me because, like you, no matter how crude and foolish my actions were, it was okay. No matter how cruel I am to you, in bed or outside of it, you just took it. It's my fault if I hurt you; I am constantly testing you because..." He struggled to continue, a lump in his throat before exhaling it all, "I am constantly testing you because I promised myself that... if someone attempts to make me fall in love again, they should suffer for it. All my love, all my effort... everyone took them all for granted, way too many times, Nena! Too many! My family, my brother, that wretched two-timer, all of them! And deep down, I know that if you do the same to me and I don't take caution..." his lips quivered as tears continued to flow freely from his eyes, "... I think I'll die, Nena... I might die, Nena. I've only just started holding back my feelings for you, and it hurts so much." He bowed his head, tasting his own tears as they landed on his lips. "Why?" she cried. "Why like this?" She lifted her gaze to the man. "You're so unfair." Even her hands were shaking now, not just her voice. "They hurt you, yet you didn't make them suffer to feel loved. I, who truly love you, you make suffer!" "I'm sorry," he said, staring with tears wetting his face.
Lysandra was defenceless against the officer's dark gaze, nothing could have warned her of just how dangerously illicit it would be to engage herself with the brute. Her panties dampened further as she gave in to her body and allowed herself a night in the addictive stranger's bed. Mikel Silvetti napped like a coil the instant he saw her sitting alone at the local bar. The vixen would be his. Nothing would stop him from claiming her; not her age, morals or his brother and her mother's upcoming marriage. She was his prey and like a predator, he refused to cease his hunt. Especially when the prize was this delectable; so intoxicating, he could practically taste the sweet juices leaking from her drenched core. With his cock saluting the red haired woman, Mikel went in for the kill. He'd fuck her hard, mark her indefinitely and chain her to him if it was the last thing he did...
I clenched my legs together as my eyes gawked at the nude man across from me. Water from the shower head rained down on the large, tanned male. I told myself to look away, to give the guy some privacy, but my eyes couldn't give two shits about common decencys. I licked my lips and fisted my hands, the strangers muscles rippled as he rinsed himself of suds. I squirmed around uncomfortably as my panties dampened and my core pleaded for a release. Screw the snake-tongued billionaires and whale sized diamond rings, if I hadn't escaped the golden cage, I'd never have had the chance to witness a taunt male ass as fine as the one currently seducing me. And, that's how I find myself; homeless, penniless and slowly turning into a pervert. Great...

'What are you doing here?' he demanded. 'Your girlfriend invited me,' Elodie replied, her voice laced with icy calm. She tried to peer past him, but his broad frame blocked the view.
