The story is about a young man "Lael Jones" who is banished from the planet Umn for falling in love with Princes Ayana, an act that is forbidden on Planet Umn. he is banished to a distant planet earth where he lands on a monastery farm where he is saved by Taoist monks. The monks, in a quest to save their order from extinction, decide to create a legendary warrior of light, and Lael Jones is seen as the perfect subject to be used for the ancient order to create a demigod who would become the vanquisher of evil. Later The planet Umn is attacked by a galactic conqueror Adigus who forces King Veriga, "The king of Umn," to put all the young boys and girls in Umn in a pod to send them to a distant planet where the future of Umn would be saved. In a twist of events, Princess Ayana changes the coordinates of the pod or spaceship to the Earth so that she can reunite with Lael Jones, the love of her life.
