Two people loved each other. No, let me rephrase it. Two people never loved each other. They hated. But fate played the game and they were forced to get married to each other. Will this marriage full of hate ever amount to real love.
"Why are you here after so many years??" he asked. I could sense anger.
"I'm here.. And I'll stay here.. Its not your hotel mister" I retorted
He came near me and grabbed my waist. I tried moving back but his strong arms were not allowing me to.
"Please- please leave me," I said helplessly.
"Huh, so now you're scared?" he asked shamelessly.
"Please let me go!"
"Go..but you'll regret what you did Ms. Marie Smith"
"What-whatever.."
He left me and I ran away.

I ran away. He followed me. I couldn't reach the hotel room's door, and he locked the door.
"What's your problem, Mr. Adrien? Did I even say anything???"
"You'll regret what you did three years ago," he said.
He came to me. I started going back. He moved forward. I went back and now I was between the wall and him.
"Now where will you go?"
"You! Leave me!"
"And what If I don't!"
"....." I didn't have an answer. He's so strong. I'm nothing.
"Will you go to your boyfriend?"
"What boyfriend?"
"Don't act like that"
"I don't have anyone, Adrien. Please leave me"
"You know I love you"
"But I don't, Adrien. If you love me then why are you forcing your love on me!"
"I never forced you nor will I ever.."
"Just look at what you're doing right now"
He got away immediately as if he never wanted to force me.
"I'm sorry but I can't take it, Marie," he said in a low tone.
"What can you not take?"
"Loving you and being hated. Loving you and being betrayed" he said and started crying. For the first time, I saw him weak.
"I didn't betray you, Adrien, you did"
"I don't think this is the right time to talk" he said and went away.
I don't know what he's thinking. He betrayed me all these years and now he came and told me he loves me? Even he said that I betrayed him? Is he serious? I should be the one crying. I have no one in this world.
Why did he come so suddenly after complete three years? Did he know... How have I cut these years? Without him, without anyone? And now... He's here forcing his love on me. After what he did... I don't love him anymore. I hate him. I can't love anyone. My belief in love has totally vanished. And it'll never return. Never.
***************
I slept. I waited for the next day. Fortunately, there were no nightmares. Otherwise, every night was haunted. With his thoughts, with my parent's thoughts...
I went out. I'll tell you about me. After his betrayal, I became weak, and eventually, I became strong. I worked hard and became a businesswoman. My business is small, but it's what keeps me busy and happy, away from sad thoughts. I reached my office. I'm the CEO. This is a small company. But, everyone respects me and everyone is hard working.
"Mam, there is someone who wants to meet you," said Maya, my PA.
"Get them in," I said.
He came inside.
Adrien. Why does he not go away?? What is he doing here!
"Miss CEO, I have an important issue to talk about," he said in a formal voice.
"What are you doing here Adrien," I asked, quite angry and annoyed by being followed by him.
"Why did you did that, Marie, why?"
"We're at the office"
"Do you want me to come to your hotel?"
"I don't know, Adrien. Just go away. I don't want to see you"
"Answer me," he said in a low voice. I sensed that this was the calmness before the thunder.
"Adrien, this is not an appropriate place".
"I don't give a fuck about the appropriate place I just want to know why you did that to me!" he shouted. Everyone in the company heard it. We're not so rich to buy soundproof doors.
"Are you here to insult me, Adrien??"
"Don't take it that way"
"Just shut up," I shouted.
"Maya!" I called Maya.
"Yes mam?" she came inside and was quite scared by all that shouting and that harsh voice of him.
"Take him out"
She looked at him. I noticed something. She was shivering. Shivering from fear. He got up.
"You don't need to do that," he said calmly to me and Maya at the same time. He went out.
Why is he always like this? This can't go on. I have to solve this. Today.
I went out of the office. I told my PA to manage some work and also to inform me of anything important.
I went to my hotel room. I searched through my contacts. There he was. I called him, fearlessly.
"Why did you call me," he asked
"Come to my hotel. I want to talk to you" I said and cut the call.
I waited for him. Somewhere in my heart, I feared. I don't know why, but I'm afraid when he's near me. When we're alone. Oh god. Why did I call him? I'm stupid.
He came in five minutes. I opened the door.
"What is it, that you want to talk about"
"Don't follow me everywhere I go. Forget me. Please"

The cold boss of The Brown Association has suddenly turned warm for someone. That someone is none other than his own personal assistant. He never thought in his wildest dreams that someone who is not the richest, not the best, not the prettiest can steal his heart, but damn, for him, she is the most beautiful girl. He slowly fell for her so deep that he was ready to do anything to get her, and if not, then he will be broken. After many heartbreaks, he finally gave up on her. She reciprocated the feelings, but only for a few days. What was that, anyway? Continued working, he turned completely cold-even more than he was before-to everyone, including her. Everything was supposed to go incredibly well, and all he had to do was wait until he divorced her a year later. But after seeing Maliyah's ocean eyes.it wasn't looking simple anymore. *** Before I could get her up, it was as if she felt the light and an uncomfortable sound came out of her mouth. "Uh-huh..." She raised her hand to cover her eyes. But I didn't have time to wait for her to wake up, so I told her to "Get Up." My voice seemed to scare her, and her light-fearing eyes suddenly widened and she kept moving to the corner. The only voice in the quiet art room was her fear-filled voice, "No...please...go away...don't come close to me." She was afraid of me? I hadn't even spoken to her before, what was she afraid of? This was definitely not going to work, I couldn't talk to her if she couldn't calm down. Then I moved closer to her, my hand on her trembling shoulder, and I whispered soothingly "Calm down.I'm not going to hurt you.I'm not going to hurt you."I assured and then she moved her hair away from her face as if to stare at me properly. Our eyes met.It was that moment. It felt as if I was enchanted for a moment. Those ocean eyes were the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen.

"Carroll Brown is dead! But you have to marry him in your sister's name." My mother said to me in a cold tone. My sister was engaged to the hottest billionaire. It should have been a perfect marriage. Unexpectedly, Carroll was dead in an accident. My sister didn't want to become a widow, so she forced me to marry her dead fiance. And I had no right to refuse her. Actually, I was the biological daughter of the Smith family. My sister was an adoptive one. My sister and I had been swapped at the hospital when we were just born. My parents had already had a deep relationship with her. So they chose to sacrifice me. On the wedding day, I was taken to the mourning hall. "Ma'am, please keep Master company and let him feel warm." The housekeeper said with a cold expression. I couldn't help but look up at the portrait above the coffin, and my heart skipped a beat at this glance. The man in the portrait was more handsome than the superstars in Hollywood. Carroll Brown? My dead husband? Wow, he was really handsome! I didn't know how long had passed when my stomach began to rebel. After one glance at the coffin, I swallowed my saliva and then begged with my fingers crossed. "Mr. Carroll, I'm starving! May I eat your pastries? You don't mind, do you?" "I do." "Ah!" Scared, I broke out in a cold sweat. My legs went limp, and I fell to the ground. I shouted, "Ghost!" Carroll curled his lips, leaned over, and touched the black coffin. "Mr. Carroll has risen from the dead. What do you think of this headline tomorrow?"
