'I think we need to talk Liam.

Let's meet later. '

Liam kept reading that text that he received from his girlfriend Amanda that night.

He is now just taking a cab to their favorite restaurant where was their meeting place.

The time they had discussed to meet was eight o'clock in the evening but he went at seven o'clock to prepare his surprise for her.

By the way, he is Liam Hidalgo, 25 years old and a registered nurse in a private hospital. His girlfriend is Amanda Smith and they have been in a good relationship for two years.

When Liam finished preparing for his surprise for the girl-- now he was just waiting for it to arrive.

He is excited to meet her.

He really prepared for that night so he reserved the rooftop of the restaurant just for Amanda. After all, he knew the owner so it was easy for him to get VIP service.

It wasn't long before Amanda arrived on the rooftop where she immediately saw her boyfriend Liam slowly standing up from a table for two round table. She also couldn't afford to ignore the candles scattered around which gave even more good ambiance in a romantic way for that night.

She can't help it to smiled secretly.

As Liam waited for the girl to approach his place, he simply picked up a bouquet of red roses lying on the table that he knew his girlfriend would love it.

Liam threw a simple smile at his girlfriend as the two got closer.

"You like it?" Liam asked while smiling referring to his prepared surprise.

The girl nodded and smiled as well.

"Yes. But - you don't have to do this. This is too much for me Liam. "Amanda replied weakly to the young man.

"Why can't I do this? You are my girlfriend so it is natural for me to make an effort like this, especially, if it's for you. Here take this. "Liam answered as he handed her the flowers he was holding which Amanda immediately accepted.

Liam quickly approached the opposite part of the table so he could help her sit on her chair.

Amanda couldn't help but smile secretly at her boyfriend's action-- because of the two years of their relationship together, she could count on her hands the chances that Liam had been sweet and caring to her.

She suddenly had second thoughts about what she was going to tell Liam that night.

But, Amanda's decision is final. She had thought about it for a long time and she knew it was the right thing to do.

Liam sat down in his chair and immediately their eyes met. It was also a few seconds until the young man himself broke their gaze.

"I ordered steak for our dinner, I hope you don't mind." Liam still smiled and he himself removed the cover from their covered food.

"And I hope you like it, I know you like it too." Liam said softly to his girlfriend and he even held Amanda's hand that was lying on the table.

Amanda looked at it but soon she was the first one to dodge and she threw a serious look to Liam.

"I said- we need to talk, right?" Amanda said.

Liam could not help but stare at his girlfriend's face because of what she said and the tone of her speech.

If only Liam can choose-- he didn't want to hear what Amanda had to say to him because he had a feeling he already knew what it was about.

"Can we eat first?" Liam still asked and when he noticed that his girlfriend about to refuse it again-- he immediately took out another BIG SURPRISE from his pocket.

"If you really don't want to eat, maybe we can start talking about this first." Liam continued and he slowly placed the royal blue small box on the table.

Her eyes widened and she couldn't help it but to cover her mouth with both hands in shock.

She didn't expect to see that thing.

It is an expensive ring. No! Let me rephrase the word, IT IS AN ENGAGEMENT RING!

She can say it's really expensive because she visibly notice those small stones that surrounded the ring. It is really beautiful to her eyes.

After seconds of silence between them--

"Will you marry me?" Liam asked his girlfriend weakly while he was still looking straight at her.

As Amanda looked up to see Liam's attention, her tears began to fall.

Amanda felt the happiness inside her especially when she heard those words from Liam-- but, there's something missing.

She feels that there is something big in her chest that holding back her happiness. That's why-- Amanda still in pain.

"God knows how long I waited for that question Liam." Amanda said weakly while suppressing more sobs as she spoke.

"God knows how much I wanted to say' I do 'to you - but, I cant!"

And her tears starts to fall continuously.

Amanda couldn't stop the movement of her shoulder from crying uncontrollably, while Liam couldn't explain how he felt after hearing those words from his girlfriend.

"W-what do you mean?" The young man asked as he mustered up the courage after a few minutes of silence between them.

Liam couldn't help but stare at his girlfriend as she bent down in tears.

"If you badly want to say' yes 'then- why? What do you mean you can't. "The young man asked again-- still full of astonishment.

"Explain to me because, I don't understand what's happening to you. "He continued.

Amanda slowly lifted her gaze to Liam. She did everything to stop the pain she was feeling that time.

"Why- why are you asking as if you don't know?" The woman asked weakly while still sobbing.

"Can we stop fooling ourselves Liam, especially yourself."- Amanda.

And because of the words that Amanda said, the young man was stopped.

"We both know that you don't really love me.

Because of the two years we have been together, she's still the one that you love! Admit it or not, I have never been to your heart and you dont allow me to that. Right? And now you are asking me 'what happened'?

You are so unbelievable Liam. "Amanda said between her sobs.

Liam still remained silent because he knew everything Amanda said was true.

"That's why, I'm willing to give you (sob) time. Time to find her, time to find your true love, time to find Kendra.

I'm willing to sacrifice Liam because I really love you. If you realize that you still love her and you need her, then-- stay with her and don't comeback.

I'm giving you 1 month-- I'm willing to wait."and that was the last remarks of Amanda before she finally stood up and left Liam alone.
